Dr. Joanna Bielby was born in Poland but lived most of her life in Edmonton, Alberta. She attended the University of Alberta where she studied Molecular and Medical genetics. After completing her undergraduate degree, she moved to Poznan, Poland where she completed medical school. Shortly afterward she moved to England to complete her foundation and GP training. She, along with her two amazing young boys and husband, moved to Kelowna in 2020 to start a new adventure. She enjoys exploring in the mountains, biking through the area, fishing on the lakes and skiing at Big White!
