Dr. Pamela O’Connor is now accepting dermatology referrals at Hilllside Medical Clinic in Kelowna. Dr. O’Connor is a dual board certified dermatologist in both Canada and the United States. She has completed 16 years of post secondary education, including a five-year dermatology residency at the University of British Columbia where she was trained in medical, surgical and aesthetic dermatology. Prior to this, she obtained a Bachelor of Science, a PhD in cancer research, and an MD from the University of Calgary. She is a clinical instructor at the University of British Columbia Department of Dermatology and Skin Science and enjoys teaching medical students and dermatology residents. After practicing in Vancouver for several years, she and her family are happy to now call Kelowna home.
Dr. O’Connor has an interest in all aspects of medical and procedural dermatology including:
- Acne
- Rosacea
- Atopic dermatitis
- Psoriasis
- Skin cancer
She also provides private (non MSP covered) consultation and removal of benign skin lesions such as:
- Skin tags
- Sebaceous hyperplasia
- Seborrheic keratoses
- Milia
- Cherry angiomas
- Benign moles
- Cysts
She does not accept referrals for chronic leg ulcers.
