Born in the North East of England, Dr. Tom Bielby completed his Medical training in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. He spent time further specializing in Acute Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine in the West Midlands in the U.K. before starting his specialization training in Family Medicine.  During this time, he met his future wife, who was a Canadian Doctor working in the same hospital.  Following the birth of their second child they made the decision to emigrate to Canada with the aim of taking advantage of all the Okanagan has to offer across all four seasons.  When not working, you will likely find them either Hiking or Biking, and if you ever happen to see him on a ski hill, he’d advise you give him a wide berth.
