Dr. Sharpe spent her childhood on a hundred-acre farm in rural Ontario. She has called BC home for the last 22 years. Prior to medicine, she was an elementary school teacher although she spent more time teaching high school. She completed medical school in Kelowna and her family medicine residency in Grande Prairie, Alberta. She has an exuberant daughter and an equally energetic Berner both of which are soon to be two and keep her plenty busy. She enjoys travel, photography and watercolours. She is passionate about accessible, holistic medicine where people feel heard and seen.
